Dave & Joyce Meyer - Founders
Joyce Meyer is one of the world’s leading practical Bible teachers and a New York Times bestselling author. Her books have helped millions of people find hope and restoration through Jesus Christ. Through Joyce Meyer Ministries, she teaches on hundreds of subjects, has authored over 80 books, and conducts close to 15 conferences each year.
For more than 20 years, Joyce and her husband, Dave, have ministered to the city of St. Louis. In 2000, they increased their outreach efforts when they founded the St. Louis Dream Center.
Dave and Joyce speak at the Dream Center several times a year during Sunday worship services. They continue to encourage the people of St. Louis to believe in God and to believe in themselves. Their message of hope brings life and healing to thousands of people every week.
David & Shelly Meyer - Co-Founders
David and Shelly Meyer are committed to seeing the Gospel of Jesus Christ reach every corner of the world. This commitment begins in their own backyard.
In 2000, David and Shelly co-founded the St. Louis Dream Center with David’s parents, Dave and Joyce Meyer. They continue to provide leadership and vision to the work of the St. Louis Dream Center.

Jeff & Jami Allensworth - Senior Pastors
Pastors Jeff and Jami Allensworth have been serving at the Dream Center since May 2001. And their passion to help people continues to grow more and more each year. Before coming to the Dream Center, Jeff and Jami served as associate pastors and children’s pastors in Illinois for more than 10 years.
Jeff got his start at the Dream Center as the Special Events Coordinator. He then became Children’s Department Manager and eventually Associate Pastor. When he and Jami became Senior Pastors in January 2006, their love for people made them a natural fit for the new role. Jami also oversees the outreach arm of the ministry.
Jeff and Jami have two beautiful daughters, Ashton (who is married to Andrew Wheeler) and Kyli. They love just being at home and spending time with their family.
Rick Washington - Associate Pastor
Rick Washington is a native of St. Louis. He and his wife, Helen, have been members at the Dream Center since April 2001. They have been married for more than 30 years.
Rick began his service at the Dream Center in 2003. After serving as Youth Pastor for three years, he stepped into the role of Associate Pastor in 2006.
Rick’s passion is seeing people set free from sin, sickness, and poverty as they realize who they are in Christ. One of his favorite scriptures is:
And He said to them, be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you – and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.” Mark 4:24 (AMP):
Aubrey Wright - Pastoral Care Pastor
Aubrey Wright, oversees the pastoral care ministry at the Dream Center, and his wonderful wife (Vanetta) has served by his side faithfully since they came on board in 2005. They have been married for 31 years, and have two sons and two precious grandsons. Aubrey loves spending quality time with his family and is passionate about empowering a generation of youth to be solid disciples for Jesus Christ. His favorite scripture is:
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. Robert Liddell - Youth Pastor
Robert (Rob) Liddell is the director of 4U Youth Ministries at the St. Louis Dream Center. He is a native of St. Louis and currently lives in Florissant, MO, with his wife, Dionne, and their three children, Aniyah, Cameron, and Mckenzie.
Pastor Rob has a heart to see today’s youth set free from sin and come to know Christ in a personal way. Rob loves the outdoors and enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and creative writing.
Jacque DeShetler - Worship Pastor
Pastor Jacque DeShetler has been leading worship, writing songs, and recording music for many years. She has served in multiple capacities, from leading a congregation of more than 3,000 members as Worship Pastor to teaching and preaching in churches, at conferences, and in prisons nationally and internationally.
Now at home at the St. Louis Dream Center, Pastor Jacque enjoys “domestic bliss” with a fantastic vocal team, a dynamic group of musicians, and a congregation that centers on worship.
She is the mother of two incredible children, has four golden retrievers, and lives in extreme wedded bliss to her husband, Steve, who is the Art Director of Broadcast for Joyce Meyer Ministries. Her favorite word is Bliss, which means, “Ecstasy in salvation … spiritual joy … a state of happiness.”
