Welcome to the St. Louis Dream Center!

We’re glad you stopped by. Whether it’s experiencing one of our dynamic worship services for the first time or serving in one of our volunteer opportunities on campus, there’s a place here for you.

Our Mission:

We’re passionate about inspiring hope, empowering leaders and strengthening families.

Our Core Values:

We Commit to Reach The Lost:

We will do everything short of sin to reach the lost.

We Don’t Have Perfect People:

We are not religious or legalistic. Our goal isn’t perfection, but progress. Authenticity with God and each other is the best way for a spiritual family to be healthy and whole.

We Love Hard:

We are a family that believes in you even when you don’t believe in yourself. We love you just the way you are, but we also love you enough to not leave you there.

Failure Is Not Final

We are willing to risk failure to fulfill the will of God. We seek obedience above comfort. Therefore, we are willing to step out in faith to do the impossible even if that means we might fail.

We’ve Got Your Back:

The strength of all of us is greater than the strength of any of us. Teamwork makes the dream work.

We Get Better:

Excellence is more than a word. It’s a lifestyle. We will never be satisfied with mediocrity. We seek to improve everything we do.

We Wear Worship as a Lifestyle:

We are a church passionate about worship and prayer. However, worship doesn’t end on Sunday mornings. It’s a lifestyle we live daily.

We Are a Generous Church That Trusts God:

Generosity is a matter of trust. We choose to believe God by giving sacrificially.

We Won’t Maintain, But Multiply:

We believe anything that’s healthy grows. We will not be stagnant, but will grow in spirit, in numbers, and in depth of character.

Our Story

Our story begins with an uplifting visit to the Dream Center in Los Angeles, where Dave and Joyce Meyer saw firsthand the restorative influence the Los Angeles Dream Center had on the crime-ridden, impoverished community surrounding it. Dave and Joyce were moved by God to bring the outreach efforts of the Los Angeles Dream Center to the hurting people in their own city of St. Louis.

With the help of David and Shelly Meyer and a handful of committed volunteers, we planted the St. Louis Dream Center right here in the heart of North St. Louis. Our first outreach, Adopt-A-Block, began as volunteers hit the streets of North St. Louis each Saturday ready with rakes, lawnmowers, trash bags, and gifts. They cleaned up the neighborhood and served the people. But most importantly, they built lasting relationships with the community.

On Sunday, October 28, 2000, we held our first official church service. More than 300 people attended that first service, and we’ve been focused on inspiring hope, empowering leaders and strengthening families ever since.

Today, we’re reaching out to thousands of people each week through our dynamic worship services and outreach efforts and invite you to join our family and see firsthand the difference we can make together.
